“Hi my name’s Gemma and I’m the managing director of Candid Wills.
I started working as a Will and Estate Planning Consultant in 2006. I worked for a large nationwide company that always put the client’s needs and excellent personal service at the forefront of everything it did. I was soon asked to also train as a will writer and before long I was helping to train new members of staff, handling daily technical queries from other will writers and recognised as a Senior Will Writer and Senior Estate Planning consultant within the company.
I sat my will and estate planning exams and qualifications via both The Will writing academy (through the Institute of Professional Will Writers) The College of Will writing (through the Society of Will Writers) and I also have a diploma in Financial Planning. My husband Mr Duke McDonald sat his exams for Will Writing and Consulting through the Institute of Professional Will Writers and we made the decision to leave the company we were working for and set up Candid Estate Planning Ltd.
Candid Estate Planning Ltd was founded in 2015 and has already built an excellent reputation as a trusted and highly recommended company for clients' Will and Estate planning needs, in and around Lincolnshire. We are happy to receive great testimonials from our existing clients and over 50% of the work we do is due to referrals from our existing clients. I hope we can have the privilege of also bringing peace of mind to you and your loved ones, in the near future.”
Our commitment to you
“Our heartfelt promise is to ensure we treat our clients in the way we ourselves would want to be treated and ensure client satisfaction is key. We felt the name ‘Candid’ was appropriate as it means ‘honest, reliable, trustworthy, clear and straight talking’ which is the ONLY type of advice and service we offer to our clients. Your family’s future security and your peace of mind are our priority. However we don’t want to just produce a will for you, our commitment is to listen to you and identify your needs and desires. We then tailor our advice to suit you and your circumstances and we ensure you have the time you need to ask all the questions you want and need to ask. It is vital you don’t just make a will but that you have all the information you need to make the best and most informed choices for your loved ones and to do that, you need to fully understand the choices you’re making. We look at the wider picture of your estate planning needs and offer advice on all areas of need within your estate, so that you can again make a fully informed decision as to exactly the level of protection you wish to provide for your loved ones. We ensure the experience is simple and professional. We promise to be caring and sensitive whilst offering you the quality personal service you desire and the expertise you need.”
